Hi, I came across your site by accident when researching repousse work for my husband who is a chaser and freeman of the Goldsmiths' Hall in London with 45 years experience. The work he does is very specialised and as you have said the creator's of this type of work are very few and usually without acknowledgement as the maker's mark would tend to be the silversmith's. It was lovely to see your work and to see how you have described the process of chasing. It is so hard to explain to people what it is you do - "Oh you are a silver-smith" - No! "Oh you are an engrave" - most certainly No! Thank you for your site

After coming to the US from Glasgow, Scotland I settled in Denver! I was with the Denver Hilton and then had the pleasure of going to work with Kohlberg's! I was there from the late '60's 'till late '70's,14 years or so!
I believe I had the great honor and privilege of having Brent's Mum as a friend and co-worker! I remember the magnificent military reproductions that Brent crafted, as well as other artistic work that he did! I was so inspired by you're great site. I recently started doing repousse on copper sheeting. Your work is fantastic. I love it. I am looking for information about changing the copper color. Well....I am still in the process of writing my book, titled "Haunted Colorado."
I don't know if it will be out either this year or next.....hopefully fairly soon!
