Blue Death
This spider was pretty small, less than 1/2 inch with its legs extended. It had just finished building its web when a tiny gnat got caught in it and was quickly overcome by the spider. As the spider wrapped the gnat in layers of web, it turned into a rich blue color. The photo was taken just before sunset and the sun was behind the spider and I had trouble keeping the sun out of the lens, I took about 40 photos of this spider but this last shot was the only good one.
