I liked that kind of work because I learned many key processes involved in manipulating metal.  It gave me a good understanding of metal and it's endless possibilities.  This experience later became helpful in creating my metal art, repoussé.  In 1989 I started experimenting with repoussé (hand embossed metal),  I was inspired by different examples of ancient repousse art from around the world and finally decided to try it myself.  It was tough at first but I eventually developed my own way of doing repousse. Since then I've done quite a few of them and I still do one now and then.  Pain in my wrist limits my metal work so lately I've been doing a lot more photography and photo manipulation.  I enjoy working with digital photos and images.
