With the help of Cafepress I now have an on line T-Shirt store Viking Art T-Shirts & Gifts My Nordic art and other designs are available on a variety of products. Below are some examples of the T-shirts but there are more styles in my store. I have mainly Viking art t-shirts with Vegvisirs (Viking compass), Aegishjalmur (Helm of awe) the Viking symbol of invincibility in battle and Mjölnir (Thor's Hammer). These make great gifts for people who have an interest in Viking, Norse, Nordic or Scandinavian art and history! These T shirts also make great gifts for folks who have Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Icelandic heritage. These are my own designs but they are influenced by original Viking and Nordic art. The brass vegvisir t-shirt is an image of a hand embossed brass Viking compass with knotwork around it.
The Viking compass t shirts also make nice gifts for Bjork fans as she has a tattoo of this Viking symbol. The design "Vegvisir Eyes" is made in the actual shape of Björk's tattoo and is more of a Bjork T-shirt than Viking art.

Mjölnir (Thor's Hammer)
Thor is the Norse god of thunder and the defender of Asgard. The original Mjölnir or Mjollnir (Thor's hammer) was made by the dwarfs brothers Sindri and Brokk. It had special powers and is a symbol of Thor's strength. Thor's Hammer is not only the most powerful Norse weapon but is also a symbol of fertility.
This knotwork Mjölnir design is available in several colors and the one with the open design allows the T shirt color to be the background of the hammer. See the hand embossed brass Thor's hammer here.

A patriotic portrayal of US soldiers from 1776 to present. Uniforms have sure changed since the revolution!
 The Vegvisir or Viking compass is an old Nordic symbol made of runes and used by the Vikings. It's similar to the "Aegishjalmur" (the helm of awe) It is said that when the vegvisir is worn or tattooed on, the bearer was able to find their direction in foggy conditions or cloudy nights when the North star was not visible.
Bjork likes the vegvisir too, she has a tattoo of it on her left arm. She said the Vikings used to mark it on their foreheads with coal to find their way home in overcast weather, she said she thought that was a bit extreme so she had it put on her arm instead.
